About This Event
Design Matters Tokyo 25 Pre-Event Meetup is a event held on the day before the global digital design conference Design Matters Tokyo 25, which will be held on September 13 and 14th.
As a pre-event for Design Matters Tokyo 25, this event will be held in a mini Yoitoi style presented by Spectrum Tokyo. This event will bring opportunities for those without the tickets to the actual conference.
There will be 2 mini Yoitoi sessions along with mingle time for attendees to get to know each other, meet and exchange ideas with the fellow minded designers.
What is Yoitoi Style?
Yoitoi Style is a signature conference format by Spectrum Tokyo where two speakers engage in a relaxed, candid conversation on a topic chosen in advance.
Unlike a traditional panel discussion, the focus is on openness rather than formality, allowing speakers to be more at ease and audiences to hear more genuine perspectives.
Each session centers on a “Good Question / Drunk Question”—a theme that people quietly wonder about.
By balancing polished professional insight (Good Questions) with unfiltered curiosity (Drunk Questions), we create conversations that are both thought-provoking and refreshingly human.

- We will open the venue from 18:45. You cannot enter before that time
