About This Event
At Spectrum Tokyo Meetup, we aim to gather people from various professions, not limited to designers, to listen to lightning talks about design in a broad sense and meet new friends. We strive for a casual atmosphere, more like a relaxed drinking party than a formal event.
The first Meetup of 2026 will be co-hosted with CrossRel under the theme “Hello 2026.” This event is designed as a place to share ambitions and set the tone for a positive, energetic start to the year. With conferences such as “KNOTS” in January and “Spectrum Tokyo Festival 2026” in February ahead, the two communities will once again come together to create and energize spaces where people can deeply think about and discuss design throughout the year.
* Spectrum Meetup is usually held in both Japanese and English, but this time the event will be conducted in Japanese only. However, we also warmly welcome anyone who is learning Japanese or would like to get more comfortable with it.

*Participants are to be over 20 years old since we will serve alcoholic beverages

At this event, we are using the external event platform ‘Tito’ for registration, and credit card payments are processed through ‘Stripe’.
Notes
- We will open the venue from 6:45PM. You cannot enter before that time.
- The office is non-smoking.
Call for Speakers
We’re looking for speakers for our upcoming events! Anyone from any industry, job role, or experience level is welcome, as long as your talk is about design and fits the monthly theme. Since we’re a design community in IT, the topic should be somewhat related to technology.
If you’re interested in speaking or want to see the theme for the next event, visit our portal for more details.
- We do not accept if your talk is going to be mainly about recruiting designers or selling your products.
